I have submitted this photo into the "Be Afraid" contest. [link] For me, this is the essence of Halloween. Fear the children who are dressed as ghouls, hopped up on sugar and out for more. lol Being a mother of 6, for me Halloween is about my kids.

I know! I coudn't believe it. And the photos they picked were so lame, except I liked the winner. At least it was a little more different than your average bloody-looking photo.

Oh yeah, I loved the first place one, although the thumbnail doesn't do it justice. I skimmed through the category and never even noticed that one. It's one you have to click on and view to realize what it is and man, it must have taken a long time to do all of that makeup. lol

I really just used a light powder on her face, then used eyeliner to do the dark circles. I also did a bit of eyeliner in the hollows of her cheeks and right under her nose. Just be sure not to put too much eyeliner and to smudge it a lot.

For this picture I reduced the saturation, which gave her a more deathly look. For makeup, you could get a makeup kit and simply put some grey makeup on your face.

lol, i dun use make up at all xD so its gonna be hard lol not much of a "care bout being pretty" girl. i kinda like writing (horror heehee) and art (visit my gallery! lol)
