That's right. My DA page feels sooooo much lighter. I just spent forever and a day going through all of the crap that I've uploaded on here and getting rid of a lot of it. And yes, I said crap. It was kind of funny to me seeing some of the earlier stuff I posted on here, and comparing it to the stuff I do now. I got rid of most of the early deviations, or moved some of them to my scraps. I also got rid of all of my drawings since I have an account for them now.

I went from 458 deviations down to 204. And I went from 82 scraps down to 23.

Hey, it's the best way I know to lose weight.

Mikaela loves to model. She's my biggest ham and has always been great with different expressions and moods. She would love to take some acting classes but I can't seem to find any in our town. Today I told her I'd start letting her model for me more and we'd make her a DA account where she could post her pictures to get some exposure as a model. She LOVED the idea.

So yes, Mikaela now has a DA account. She doesn't know the login or the password, that way I can be with her when we check it and it works well since I'll be the one uploading the deviations for her.

I have a favor to ask of anybody who reads this. Can you help spread the word? Maybe a little mention in your journal so she can get more people viewing her pictures. She gets so excited when she sees the views on Morbid Curiosity and she's excited to see comments and favs on her new pictures too. We have some horror photos planned for this week, so expect to see some on my account AND on hers.

There really isn't a lot new with me, but we got a kitten the other day. She's adorable and she's been modeling for me. But she is SUCH a pain in the ass. I've gotten very little sleep over the last few days because she's so little that I worry we're going to roll over on top of her or something. We've tried putting her in different boxes and containers to have her sleep in there but she just climbs right out. And she meows SO much! I don't think my other 3 cats meowed as much in their lifetime as she has over the last two days. It's kind of annoying, actually, because I don't know if she's meowing because something is wrong or just because she likes to hear her own voice.

On another note, my mother is getting married this weekend. It's been less than a year since my dad died and she met this guy Lonnie in May. She moved in with him pretty much immediately and yesterday they decided to get married this Saturday. You know, normally I would say follow your heart and go for it but my mom doesn't know what she's doing. After 40 years of marriage, she's just desperately searching for the security that she had with my dad. Lonnie's a nice enough guy but there are so many things she doesn't know about him. So I'll go to the wedding and support them but I honestly don't expect it to last. Maybe that's just me being jaded, as usual.

I'm so tired I just want to go to sleep. I think I need to start working on a drawing to keep myself occupied.
